Overview

Known as the "Period Bridal Costumes Special Stamps," they will be in denominations of 10, 35 and 75 cents.

As the name suggests. they will depict the bridal costumes of the three main ethnie groups of Singapore Malay, Chinese and Indian. The Malay bridal gown against a yellow background will be issued for the 75 cents denomination. The 10 cents stamp will depict a typical Chinese wedding gown against a green background. The traditional Indian bridal saree is depicted against a purple background for the 35 cents stamp.
