Overview
This year Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry [SCCCI] celebrates a century of excellence with a set of five commemorative stamps ensconced within a distinctive Chinese fan-shaped design, which embodies the SCCCI's deep linkages with Chinese culture.
The stamp designs feature the SCCCI Building [1st Local stamp], the purple blooms of the Dendrobium Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry [2nd Local stamp], the logo of the World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention [80c stamp], the administration building of Nanyang University [$1 stamp] and the $2 stamp spots the Japanese War Memorial and Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall. These icons represent the important contributions of the SCCCI within its 100 years of existence, especially in the areas of the economy, culture, education, welfare and national education.
