The 10 ASEAN member countries have strong and close relationships. Together as a community, the 10 ASEAN member countries have collaborated on the project “Joint Stamp Issue of ASEAN Community” since 2013. The 10 ASEAN member countries jointly issue a common “One Stamp” and “One Postmark” on the 08 August 2015, with ASEAN celebrating its 48th Anniversary. This furthers strengthen the theme “One Vision, One Identity, One Community”. The issuance of this single stamp depicting the same image among ten countries reects the unity of ASEAN Community.

The colourful painting presents the 10 national ags of the member countries unied in a form of ower around the ASEAN logo. This is accompanied with the motto and a pair of pigeons at the background to represent the peaceful coexistence of the region. The handshaking symbol at the bottom of the stamp conveys peace, friendship and solidarity. Golden ears of rice at the base represent the mutual identity of agricultural community.
