2019 is a special and important year for Singapore and Israel as both countries celebrate together 50 years of close bilateral relations and warm friendship. To commemorate this significant milestone, Singapore Post and Israel Post jointly release this joint stamp issue to enhance and strengthen both countries relationship. The theme for this joint stamp issue is “Flowers”. Featured in this joint stamp issue are Pigeon orchid, Golden Shower, Bougainvillea and Ixora in one stamp and Anemone, Cyclamen, Senecio and Narcissus in another stamp.
