The Singapore National Stamp Exhibition - SINGPEX - for 2004 is right around the corner. This year, the exhibition and a stamp fair will be held at the Singapore Philatelic Museum from 7 August to 9 August 2004. Making the event even more significant, the year 2004 will also mark the 150th year since the first use of the first postage stamp in Singapore, in 1854.
Come view the winning philatelic collections from the adult, youth and school group categories, and pick up philatelic merchandise from local and foreign stamp dealers.
The new National Day stamp release will be issued on 9 August 2004, and SingPost will be selling the products at SPM on the date of release. See you there.
