Tri-Nation Stamp Exhibition 2012

The Tri-Nation Stamp Exhibition 2012 will be held in Singapore between 31 August and 2 September 2012 at the National Library Building. The exhibition is organised by the Association of Singapore Philatelists (ASP) to promote philatelic friendship and maintain close co-operation amongst philatelists and stamp collectors in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

There will be a total of 200 exhibit frames, 150 exhibit frames for competitive exhibits which comprises of 50 frames from each country and 50 frames for invited exhibits from local philatelists who have contributed significantly to the promotion of Singapore Philately.

The first series of stamps for Singapore 2015 World Stamp Exhibition will be officially launched at the opening ceremony of the Tri-Nation exhibition.

In addition, the Singapore Philatelic Museum together with ASP, will be holding their National Stamp Collecting Competition (NSCC) for the school children. National Library is planning to have the Singapore Memory Project by setting up PC terminal to allow the school children and stamp collectors to input their stamp collecting stories.

There will be 12 dealer/postal administration booths available and they are located at the main foyer on the ground floor of the National Library Building.

The tentative schedule for the Tri-Nations exhibition is as follows:

  • 31 August 2012: 10am - 9pm
  • 1 September 2012: 10am - 9pm
  • 2 September 2012: 10am - 2pm
