The 1st Anniversary of Independence stamp series was released to commemorate our first year of independence. The design, featuring a multiracial group of people standing as one, was a powerful pledge and promise of unity. It also showed our fierce determination to forge a shared identity and build a society where people of all races thrive together. The backdrop of industrial buildings and housing blocks symbolised the nation's focus on national progress, economic growth, and public housing – a testament to our pioneer generation’s hopes and steely determination.
