Released to mark 150 years since the arrival of Sir Stamford Raffles, these stamps traced Singapore's journey from its early days as a trading port to its independence. The stamp series, designed in a semi-abstract style, collectively shared a significant period in Singapore's history: the Founding of Singapore, the Japanese Occupation, Self-Governance, Singapore as a part of Malaysia, Independence, United Nations membership, and our achievements in Commerce, Industry and Communications.
