In 2007, the Frangipanni and Torch Ginger were beautifully illustrated and featured, while in 2009, to make the Definitives series more varied, the Blue Pea Vine (Clitoria ternatea) and the Pigeon Orchid (Dendrobium crumenatum) were added.

This year, to emphasize that Singapore is a bustling metropolis nestled in a lush mantle of tropical greenery, another two flowering plants - the Simpoh Air (Dillenia suffruticosa) and Singapore Rhododendron (Melastoma malabathricum), are featured.
