Overview
Singapore rainforest reserves make up only 3% of our land area. Habitat loss makes our wildlife vulnerable unless their home is protected well into the future. It's not too late. We can do our part to safeguard our nature areas and wildlife there.
Which is why HSBC's Fun with Nature programme aims to educate our children about Singapore's amazing wildlife and the importance of preserving their natural habitats. The logic is simple. By getting children involved and excited about our wildlife, we can encourage them to care for the future of our nature areas.
This year's theme for the Care-for-Nature stamp series features the native wildlife of Singapore: the Common Palm Civet (1st Local), the Common Flying Dragon (1st Local), the Black-spotted Sticky Frog ($1) and the Common Tiger Butterfly ($1).
This is the 16th series of the Care-for-Nature (CFN) stamp issue sponsored by HSBC.
Exclusively produced by HSBC, the Care-for-Nature Fun with Nature Stamp Series is a limited edition available in Collector's Cover and Limited Stamp Print Collections (4-in-1 and Set-of-4 stamp prints). All proceeds from the sale of the HSBC Care-for-Nature Stamp Series will be donated by the Bank to the Care-for-Nature Trust Fund which in turn funds nature conservation and education initiatives to protect our environment.
The HSBC Care-for-Nature Collector's Cover and the Limited Edition Stamp Prints can be bought at any HSBC branch across the island. Or you can place your order online at www.hsbc.com.sg.
Help us conserve our heritage and save what little we have. With your help, we can make sure our wildlife and their natural homes are still around when our children grow up.
