Singapore, having one of the highest population densities in the world, is well known as a Garden City. In the midst of our population, over 2000 recorded native plant species can be found, and there are about two million trees planted along roadsides, in parks and protected nature areas.

How well do we know our trees? Take a closer look at ten of the most commonly found trees in Singapore. They have always been around us ...so, let's take some time to get to know them:

Rain Tree, Angsana, Yellow Flame, Senegal Mahogany, Broad-leafed Mahogany, Tembusu, Sea Apple, Saga, Trumpet Tree and Sea Almond.
