The Rabbit is the fourth zodiac animal in the cycle, to be featured in this stamp series. The Year of the Rabbit is said to be peaceful and congenial after the ferocious Tiger year. The set of two stamps depicting graphic designs of the loveable Rabbit would be released on 15 Jan 99.

Collectors can also look forward to the fourth series of the limited Zodiac mini stamp sheets of 18 stamps (9 sets of stamps) per sheet. Chinese and English inscription of "Year of the Rabbit" will also be printed on the selvedges and the colour guides are in the shape of the Rabbit.
