207,448 visited Singapore '95, the first world stamp exhibition ever held at Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre (SICEC) from 1 to 10 Sep 95. These visitors comprised stamp collectors and even non-stamp collectors like our youths, families and working adults.
Singapore '95 was like a grand philatelic paradise where visitors viewed more than half a million stamps, including rare philatelic gems from around the world, met up with Singapore stamp designers and stamp clubs, learnt about the world through stamps and computer games and shopped for collectibles all under one roof.
Singapore '95 was a significant milestone in the history of Singapore philately. In the following pages, we would like you, our readers, to revisit Singapore '95 once again with us ......
On 1 Sep 95 and the weekends, Singapore '95 was like a packed market for stamp enthusiasts. We thanked our collectors and visitors for their great support of Singapore '95 and apologised if they were inconvenienced by the large crowds attending this mega philatelic event.
