Depicted in this set of stamps, issued to mark the 10th year of National Courtesy Campaign, are some of the basic acts of courtesy. Featured on the stamps is Singa, the courtesy mascot, which has given the campaign a unique identity since its introduction in 1982. The 10¢ stamp depicts the need to greet neighbours; the 30¢ stamp the necessity to queue at service counters; and the $1 stamp shows the need to help our elders.
