2018 is a special and important year for Singapore and Russia as both countries celebrate together 50 years of close bilateral relations and warm friendship. To commemorate this significant milestone, Singapore Post and RusMarka jointly release this joint stamp issue to enhance and strengthen both countries relationship. The theme for this joint stamp issue is "Modern Architecture". Featured in this joint stamp issue are the Gardens by the Bay from Singapore and the Zaryadye Park from Russia.
