While the rest of the world is sleeping, some creatures in the forests are just beginning to wake up from their slumber. These nocturnal creatures take advantage of the cooler temperature, less competition for food and the night darkness, to hunt for their prey. In this delightful set of stamps, four of these night creatures namely the Tarsier (No-Value Indicator, For Local Addresses Only), the Barn Owl (40cts stamp), the Babirusa ($1 stamp) and the Clouded Leopard ($2 stamp) are illustrated against the backdrop of the night sky.

The stamps are also presented in a specially produced miniature sheet. The stamps in the miniature sheet are coated with special "glow-in-dark" ink, so have fun seeing the eyes of the animals and the stars glow when the lights are off.
