Overview
The Singapore Convention Bureau was formed in 1974 to promote Singapore as a convention destination. 1995 marks its 21st year and symbolises the coming of age of the convention industry.
The Meet in Singapore 1995 campaign was launched to raise awareness of Singapore as a convention destination. 1995 will also witness the opening of the Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre at Suntec City.
Suntec City is the single largest privately-owned commercial project in Singapore, comprising the first purpose-built convention centre, four 45-storey office tower, one 18-storey office block, three-storey shopping and recreation podium and an impressive Fountain Terrace.
The set of four stamps and four maxicards depict the various facilities and attractions of Suntec City.
