Conservation has become an integral part of Singapore's city planning. With rapid urban and economic development, Singapore has been radically transformed into a highly modern city state. Singapore Post participated in a worldwide youth stamp design project inviting children from age groups 8 to 12 years old to express their visions of the future on drawings in 1998.
